  • Bus bars made from aluminum that tend to oxidize and corrode
  • Breakers that don’t trip under normal overload conditions
  • Breakers that appear to be tripped when they’re notThese problems are a safety hazard due to the risk of fire. Recommend having a qualified electrician replace any and all Zinsco brand panels.If the Zinsco panel(s) are not replaced, then a qualified electrician should thoroughly evaluate the panel(s) and components within and make repairs as necessary. Repair/Replace , Conducive conditions – The heating/cooling system’s air handler is installed in an attic space, and no auxiliary catch pan and drain are installed below. Condensation may leak onto finished living spaces below and cause damage. A qualified heating and cooling contractor should install a catch pan and drain as per standard building practices.
