population resides in Southern California and is home to more than 25.7 million people. With such a large population, durable construction is paramount.
Each year the Southern California area has about 10,000 earthquakes. Most are small and not even felt. However, several hundred are greater than magnitude 3.0, and then there are a handful of really powerful earthquakes where there is the potential for large spread destruction. Our inspectors know to look for buildings that are complaint with all earthquake-building standards. Another common home inspection consideration is the pool and home spa. Many homes in this area have backyard pools and spas. Inspecting these facilities to ensure there are no cracks in the foundation, all safety devices are present, and all safety standards have been met is an important part of our inspections.
